About Hills Nursing

Hills Nursing was established in 1955 by Mrs Bea Goulder, a Registered Nurse. The business began in Mrs Goulder's home using a front room as the office and originally traded as Castle Hill Visiting Nursing Services.

Mrs Goulder was a sole provider for over 20 years. Then in 1981 the business was taken over by Kate Eckersley, Bea’s daughter. At this time it was incorporated and traded as Hills District Nursing Service. By 2007 the service had expanded considerably and moved to new premises in Castle Hill, a locality central to the geographic area serviced by the company. In August 2011, the company formally changed its name to Hills Nursing Pty Ltd.

Since 1955, we've grown considerably. We now employ over 100 staff in a mix of full-time, part time and casual positions.

The company’s mission is to provide a comprehensive range of holistic, high quality nursing and support services to people in the community to assist them to live independently.

As a measure of our commitment to providing quality care to our clients and support to our staff, Hills Nursing is certified as complying with both ISO9001:2008 and the Attendant Care Industry Management System Standard. Both of these schemes subject the company and its procedures to external scrutiny at least once per year.
