About the Job

Hills Nursing currently has vacancies for highly experienced and reliable Assistants in Nursing to provide in-home care to our client in Guildford NSW. You can expect to be paid an hourly rate between $24.82 and $44.92, depending on the shift.

This young person with Cerebral Palsy requires a high level of care every day for up to 12-13 hours per day.

The successful candidate may be provided with the opportunity to pick up other shifts

In this role you may provide a variety of services to our clients, including:

  • PEG feeding
  • Medication asistance through PEG & nebuliser
  • Personal care
  • Assistance with oxygen
  • Suctioning
  • General monitoring of client's condition
  • Assistance around the home

The successful applicant/s will have:

  • A passion for caring for people with a disability
  • A current First Aid certificate
  • Current Police Check and Working With Children Check
  • A current driver's licence, and reliable car with comprehensive insurance
  • Mobile phone and email access
  • Attention to detail
  • Friendly approach and excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Professional presentation

Previous experience providing care for people with physical and mental disability, preferably in a community setting and a relevant qualification will be highly regarded.
