Hills Nursing History
More than 65 years ago, in 1955, registered Nurse Bea Goulder had a dream to offer in-home nursing assistance to the local community. Aptly, her business, trading as Castle Hill Visiting Nursing Services, was started in her own home, using one of her front rooms as her office.
In 1981 Kate Eckersley, Bea’s daughter took the reins and incorporated and traded the business as Hills District Nursing Service. By 2007 the service expanded further and moved to new premises in Castle Hill. Then in August 2011, the company formally changed its name to Hills Nursing Pty Ltd.
From humble beginnings, we have grown to employ more than 100 casual, part-time and full-time locals.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive, high-quality nursing and support services to assist our clients to live safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes and community.
