The Australian government has created the Home Care Package program to help older Australians to live at home for as long as they choose to. The program provides an amount of funding to recipients based on their assigned package level and assessed care needs. 

There are four levels of Home Care Packages:

•  Home Care Level 1 – for those living with basic care needs.
•  Home Care Level 2 – for those living with low level care needs.
•  Home Care Level 3 – for those living with intermediate care needs.
•  Home Care Level 4 – for those living with high care needs.
